The WP series of headphones, by the Singapore-based electronics giant Creative, gets our nod for its easy pairing setup for iPod and iPhones as well as for BlackBerry and Android devices. All three pairs in the series claim music playback of up to 8 hours and talk-time of about 9 hours and feature an “invisible mic”, concealed in the earpiece, for voice calls. Minor design peripherals (cushier leatherette linings and accessories like a compact that you can bundle the phones into) are what you’re paying extra for.
