The Kala Ghoda Café is so hard to find that it’s almost never full. This works out wonderfully, since the place has only four squeezed-in tables. Should you find it (it’s opposite Trishna, now you know), we suggest you give the small menu a quick once-over and settle in for the evening. KGC is perfect for catching up with south Mumbai friends over home-blended organic coffees, tea and a slice of some very yummy ginger cake. Like all their coffees, the café au lait comes with a little square of dark chocolate, a very nice follow-up to the roasted bean flavour.
